this helm was one of three 'loaners' inherited by the new Shire of Lions Gate from the West Kingdom in early 1975.  There was no chin strap.  The helm was held in place by two large green, open cell foam pads (visable below the front of the helm) pushed into the space between the fighters cheeks and the face plate of the helm.
